Transfers of emotional states could be part of our everyday life and most of the time we probably don’t even realize it. It is common for people experiencing anger to transfer this emotional state to the ones that are closest to them, initiating a chain of rage that can be hard to stop. - Brian Scalini
Brian Scalini is an Italian freelance choreographer based in Dresden. He holds a bachelor’s degree in product design from the University of Bologna, and from 2022, a master’s degree in choreography from the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden. Since then he has created works for institutions such as Theater Pforzheim, Palucca University of Dance and Tanzcompagnie Landesbühnen Sachsen, and presented his creations at festivals and venues such as Hellerau – European Centre for the Arts in Dresden, Hong Kong International Dance Festival, Machol Shalem Dance House Israel, Istanbul Fringe Festival, Festival Choregraphique International de Bloise France, Bauhaus Fest – Bauhaus Museum Dessau, and many others. With his choreography Meet You In the Navel, Brian won the first prize at the 22 Certamen Internacional de Coreografia Burgos y Nueva York.
