THEATRICAL BODY workshop is based on physical theatre exploration - the connection between intention/emotion and movement. Participants are encouraged to further investigate their own individuality through different improvisation tasks and games. In order to expand our performativity and creativity, we will practice two approaches, equally valid for a creative process: physicality evoking intention or emotion/thought embodiment. Through a playful and open environment, we challenge our movement habits and develop a strong sensibility for detail and authenticity in physicality.

Eliana Stragapede (born in Italy in 1996) and Borna Babić (born in Croatia in 1994) are creators, dancers, choreographers and teachers based in Brussels. Both graduated from Codarts in Rotterdam and began working professionally with Marina Mascarell and Club Guy & Roni. Since then, they have danced with renowned choreographers and companies. Since 2020, Eliana has been a part of the Peeping Tom dance theatre company, and performs in the production Triptych. She is currently working with Club Guy & Roni in the Netherlands. Borna works with Olivier de Sagazan, but also, since 2019, with Ultima Vez/Wim Vandekeybus.
