You might be wondering why this is called Cabaret Fatal? What is so fatal about it? Is it disastrous, shocking, dangerous, unprecedented, new?

Can we even be astonished by recycling the art forms from the 20th century? (What forms?)

This is why, through this DIY reverberation of a cabaret, we (self-ironically) interweave dance, acting and clownery, and build a performance environment which uses music that varies from the full-blooded compositions to simple melodies from mobile applications (contemporary).

We warn, shout and resolutely repeat thoughts that fall into oblivion as soon as they are uttered.

Just like almost every problem today.
It is forgotten by tomorrow.

Matea Bilosnić is a choreographer, dancer, performer, and multimedia artist. She embarked on her dance journey with the Zadar Dance Ensemble and has continued to collaborate with them as a choreographer, performer, videographer and organizer up to the present day. With them she created Gozd-danse macabre, for which she was awarded the Croatian Association of Drama Artists award for best choreography in 2020. Matea is a part of the production team of the Stream Zadar educational platform and the curator of the Monoplay Festival of contemporary dance

Tras studio is a performance collective whose members are dance artists, performers, choreographers and pedagogues. Since its foundation (2012), the collective gathered around the idea of collaborating through interdisciplinary projects, research and workshops with various artists and theatres with whom they share artistic interests. The collective also develops training and workshops for different target groups (the elderly, retirement home beneficiaries, children and company employees).
