Creative Corner for professionals

In each country participating in the Creative Europe programme, the Creative Europe Desk has been established as an extension of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

In Croatia, the Desk for the Culture subprogramme operates as part of the Ministry of Culture, while the Desk for the MEDIA subprogramme operates as part of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre. The tasks of the Creative Europe Desk involve representing the Creative Europe programme at the national level, supporting the cultural and creative sector with programmes/competitions, encouraging cross-border collaboration between artists, professionals and institutions, assisting the Commission by providing information on the cultural and creative sector and helping the Commission distribute the results and impacts of the programme. With these goals in mind, the Desk organises and co-organises networking activities for professionals in the creative and cultural sector, lectures and panels related to the programme itself and its features.

This time, the Creative Corner will be organized in three parts. In the first part we will give the answer to the question “Creative Europe: what’s in it for me?” In the second part, entitled creative ID card, each professional will fulfil an ID card, and thus enter the pool of experts interested in participating in Creative Europe projects. Creative snack is the third, informal part of the two-hour long networking.
