How to present memories in a dance form? This work is inspired by the history of San Vincenti; its stories, its customs, its legends. It consists of fragments of narrated memories and experiences of the citizens of San Vincenti and its surroundings. The theme is body: the body in play, the invisible body, the body from the past, the body of magic, the body of a community. How is the past present in the present? The games, customs, practices and beliefs testify to a cultural coding of the community and coexist as a part of today's identity. By giving life to a location as a place of collective memory, the past and the present merge, articulating the unconscious, the transformative and that which is beyond words.

Aleksandra Mišić (Pula, 1978.) made her first dance steps at the Zaro Dance Studio in Pula, where she attended classical ballet classes, and then continued her education in Croatia and abroad with renowned pedagogues and dancers (Laban Centre London, Impulstanz ..). She is the artistic director and a co-founder of MASA DANCE COMPANY, a dance pedagogue and the head of D / E / P dance education programs within Masa Dance Company. As a dancer she won the Croatian Association of Dramatic Artists award 2014 for the best dance performance in Hermaphrodites of the Soul by Žak Valenta, and as a choreographer numerous prestigious national and international awards and recognitions. With Ognjen Vučinić she won the Critics' Award at the 2011 Choreographic Miniatures Festival and the Grand Prix at the 6th International Dance Festival in Algeria for the performance YOU, produced by Masa Dance Company. She has the BA degree in Contemporary Dance (teaching division) from the Academy of Dramatic Arts, and is currently studying for an MA in dramaturgy. She teaches scenic practice classes at the high school for contemporary dance within the Franjo Lučić Art School in Velika Gorica, and regularly holds BA and MA classes of contemporary dance at the Institut za umetničku igru in Belgrade. She lives and works in Zagreb.
