The show Little Nemo represents the way to establish a relationship with an imaginary space, the outcome of an dreamlike world, where the surroundings can change into something different at any moment and allow us to come across something else. The choreography is presented as a single vast scene and the sequence of the tableaux is ordered just like a comic strip, sequentially and contemporaneous altogether.
The show is inspired by the places described - more properly, painted - by Tintoretto the famous Venetian painter of 16th century. The sequence of frames is ordered as the paintings in the Hall of the Scuola Grande di San Rocco in Venice and thanks to the particular focus on space creation mixed with a fairy-tale imagination, the action is carried out through vertical and aerial dance.

The Vertical Dance Company Il Posto is a project conceived in 1994 by the choreographer Wanda Moretti and the musician Marco Castelli, and it is based on the interaction between dance, music and architecture. The Vertical Dance performances of the Company Il Posto challenge gravity by using the void, the aerial dimension and the forms of landscape as a stage. Therefore, a new, unexpected and uncommon point of view, a different visual perspective is presented to the audience, which becomes spectator(s) of a change of setting, that shifts into different figures, visions and forms. There are no borders nor roles, because everything has become a unique space gathered by the presence of the bodies, a space that changes only through movement and music. Live music completes the creation of which the audience and the location are integral figures.

Over the years the performance has developed into different choreographies on the façades of buildings, bridges, towers, lighthouses, cloisters, historical palaces, but also theatres, museums and industrial buildings. The Company Il Posto has taken part in important festivals and events on both the national and international scene such as the Singapore Arts Festival, Uniteatro Festival Paranà-Brazil, International Dance Festival in Bangkok, Kuopio Dance festival in Finland, Dimitria Festival in Salonicco, Lugar a Dança in Lisbon, Silkeborg Performer House Denmark, Doha In Qatar, Gaborone in Botswana, FoolsFestival in Belfast, Defense Paris, Festival Des Arts Vivant in Rabat, Mittelfest, Roma in Scena, Carnival of Venice and many others festivals in Italy as Milano, Genova, Napoli...
