CHOREOGRAPHIC FANTASY No. 1 deals with the choreography in the format of a series of fragments as its manifestations, forms and symptoms. It platforms the choreographic appearance as a manifestation per se; without any additions which do not emerge from its own centre. Embarking on a long journey through the archetypes of dances, all of which are in some way anchored in our present day understanding and execution of movement, this work is phantasmagoric in a sense of a phantom or also as pandemonium.
CHOREOGRAPHIC FANTASY No. 1 is a new work of renowned Croatian choreographer Marjana Krajač developed for and with five emerging dance artists. It is the beginning of a choreographic series which evokes a trust in the very essence of a dance medium, exposing its fragility and enhancing its core.
