The dance-music project Domesticus vulgaris or Simply Domestic is inspired by albums of Cinkuti, Zeleni kader and Domesticus vulgaris, and the animated film Ciganjska by Marko Mestrović and Davor Medurecan. Each song performed by Cinkusi motivates to dance and gives a special meaning, thus creating a separate dance and music 'corpus poeticum, which consciously or subconsciously becomes a true source of the so-called contemporary ethno-movement. It is an amazing music in which, through tears and laughter, you experience a true explosion of emotions, recognizing your own feelings which provoke everything instinctive, immediate, deep and fantastic in us. The animated film Ciganjska is a film of a dark and anxious atmosphere, which emphasizes alienation and the confusing urge for self-destruction. This excellent movie has served as a kind of counterpoint to the playful atmosphere and poetic images, which suddenly turn into an 'anti happy end’. I would call it 'dance without borders', with- out a concrete story, since it is all around us and woven into each song, but only with the emotion and an occasional narrated personal memory of human life and music as the best way to go through it with less scars on the soul.
