The Rite of Spring is a story about the dance and remains so till the end of the story. What would replace the rite of fertility today? What sort of meaning would that kind of rite have in today's urban environment? Is it today the rite of the beginning and new rebirth or the urban rite of death? These questions make us face the great musical work of Igor Stravinsky and awaken the reflections of the ancient rites written in our genes. Reflections in glass, concrete and metal.

Matjaž Farič started his career as dancer and choreographer in 1980-ties. He is the founder of numerous dance groups and winner of many prestigious international awards and prizes.
