The performance Mozart - hype as I wanna be by Slovene choreographer Iztok Kovač and his international dance company En-Knap, uncovers the lid of history to release the ghost of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In the bustle of high-powered and skillful combinations of six contemporary dancers and playful music by Tomaž Grom, the icon of the Austrian wunderkind is pinned to the background of his tumultuous life filled with prolific creativity, success, power and passion on the one hand and dark depressions, intrigues and deep lows on the other. The performance criss- crosses the choreographic principles of Iztok Kovać with the composition principles of Mozart to arrive at an energetic and highly calibrated atmosphere which animates the stage space into a pulse-accelerating and rhythmic landscape of thrilling dance images beneath a kinetic construction by Attila Csörgo.
