If spine is the axis of our body, Alexis Eupierre understands it and in his solo he shows that love is the axis (the spine) of our lives, pleasure and pain, a labyrinth full of curves, in which it is often difficult to discern what is what, and that, as Chavela Vargas says in her song love hurts and one cannot live without it. Amarduele (love hurts) is a full-length choreography with a musician who composes and performs the music directly and reaches extremely suggestive sound registers. The result is a transition from one state into another and approaching an inner landscape through movement.
