Solo performance Places where treats mental illness like the cause of the beginning of movement. The emotional dimension of dance with its ecstatic repetitions and logic of transformation wants to take over the iconic meaning of madness. The performance is based on the method of extreme minimalism, alternation of movement and rhythmical structure. Sticking to one place and one body-view makes the energy of body-space more radical and movement structure very exact. The minimal interventions and changes of movement are creating a new architecture of the body through a very precise rhythm series.
Places where were awarded at the 2nd Platform of Young Choreographers 2001 and presented at 18th Dance Week Festival in 2001.
